CYPRUS

All Cyprus companies, whether Cyprus tax resident or not, are obliged to prepare financial statements according to International Financial Reporting Standards. These must be filed with the Registrar of Companies.

Also, based on the results of the financial statements, the annual tax returns must be prepared and filed with the Income Tax authorities.

The first financial statements must be presented, at the latest, within 18 months from the initial registration of the company and, thereafter, once a year.
