Solar Cataraman in Corinth's port

In Corinth anchored the largest catamaran in the world, working only on solar energy. MS Turanor Planet Solar arrived in Greece as part of an archaeological site survey of prehistoric settlements in the maritime zone of Argolic gulf, near Ermionidas.

Joint archaeological research conducted by the University of Geneva in collaboration with the Swiss School of Archaeology, Hellenic Centre for Marine Research and the Department of underwater antiquities.

The solar catamaran under the flag of Switzerland will stay in the port of Corinth for the next three days and then, through the Isthmus of Corinth, it will go to Argolic Gulf, where research work will begin. The ship will stop in Navplio and on Monday, August 4th, it arrive in Piraeus.
