Prestigious award for Greek restaurants

"Gold Cap" - the highest and most prestigious award in the field of Greek gastronomy and restaurant business, awarded annually by the Ministry of Tourism of the country's best restaurants and chefs in Greece. Mediterranean cuisine, part of which is Greek, are increasingly popular around the world. Gastronomic tourism attracted to the country every year more and more tourists who want to not only see the famous sights of Greece, but also to get acquainted with the famous Greek cuisine and taste her food. That is why the next contest this year, particular attention was paid to the Greek cuisine. At the informal summit of Ministers of Tourism of the European countries during the awarding ceremony, known chefs countries presented Greek cuisine. At an official dinner at the Athens Hotel Grande Bretagne Hotel 5 * guests were able to enjoy a special menu: "The new post-modern Greek cuisine."

For the second time in a row, "The best restaurant in Greece" and "Best Greek restaurant" recognized Etrusco restaurant on the island of Corfu, where the chef Hector Bodrin eat, something to enjoy. In addition Etrusco, among the best in Greece and two other of his restaurant: Botrini's in Athens and Botrini's Rodi on Rhodes, for which the famous chef was just three "Golden bell."
