Northern Greece winemakers will arrange the one day event in Athens in order to present to a metropolitan audience the best brands of wine from different grape varieties grown in Northern Greece. Wine Festival «VorOina» («Τα ΒορΟινά») will be held at Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the hotel «Grande Bretagne».

The event «VorOina», organized by the Union of winemakers "Wines of Northern Greece", will be presented for tasting a rich collection of selected brands of wines from local and foreign varieties grown in the famous vineyards of northern Greece. White, pink and red, young and aged vintage wines, varietal and blended, dry, sparkling, sweet wines as well as a wide selection of alcoholic beverages make up the collection of the exhibition.

This year for the first time during the event of  «VorOina» will be held a national competition of sommelier. During the competition the best sommelier of 2015 will be selected, which will represent Greece at the European contest organized by the World Association of Sommeliers in Austria in 2017.
