Europe's largest forum on the development of air transportation “Routes Europe 2015” was held from 12 to 14 April in Aberdeen (Scotland).

The winner in the category of airports with capacity of 4-20 million passengers per year was Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos". Athens Airport was declared the best in the polls among the airlines participating in the forum.

“Routes Europe” is the largest event in the aviation industry, the emerging trends of development of the aviation industry and tourism. Within the frames of the event annually are reviewed and discussed critical issues of the industry, related to the development of air transportation market and expanding international route network. The forum is an exchange of their experience and the search for new solutions in the field of airport business and marketing, as well as strengthening cooperation with major airports and airlines.

It should be mentioned that for 11 years Athens International Airport was awarded 14 awards “Routes Europe”, becoming the most decorated member of the forum.
