1st Festival of Science – “Thessaloniki Science Festival” - will be held in Thessaloniki on 14 and 17 May 2015. The visitors will discover exciting World of Science during the festival, which will take place in two locations - in Hall number 8 at Helexpo exhibition complex and at the culture and sports complex WE.

Four days full of events and activities for all ages, reveal unknown aspects of science in the most original and funny way. Impressive experiences and performances, workshops, interactive exhibitions and competitions, interesting lectures, discussions and demonstrations will make the festival program.

Thematic sections of the festival include: Physics, chemistry, biology - life science, geology, mathematics, environmental science, sustainable development, health sciences, nutrition, astronomy and space, innovation and entrepreneurship, materials engineering, robotics, digital technology and computer science, history and philosophy of science, science and art.
