The two-day Open Day, or Open House (Open House), will be held this weekend in Athens. 2nd Open House Athens offers 70 historical architectural buildings of the Greek capital on 16 and 17 May 2015.

«Open House» is one of the most important international institutions for the promotion and popularization of architecture. The idea of ​​the "Open House" appeared in London in 1992 and has now spread to more than 30 cities around the world, including Athens (2014) and Thessaloniki (2012-2014).

The purpose of the event is to enable the public to explore and understand the importance of architecture and the built-up environment. Every year for two days the public and private buildings of architectural interest, are opening their doors to the public, and the city turns into an open air museum.
