Acropolis Museum dedicates the October 28 to children

At 28th October Greece notes the national holiday-day of No. On this day in 1940, Greece formally joined the 2nd world war after Greek Prime Minister Ioannis Metaxas rejected the ultimatum by the Italian dictator Mussolini to allow Italian troops enter into Greece and pass them in strategic positions.

On the day of 28 October, Acropolis Museum will be open from 8.00 until 20.0000, with free entrance to the public. For its youngest visitors the Museum has prepared various programs involving archaeologists-the keepers of the Museum. Children learn a lot of interesting and will take part in the exciting search for mythical creatures among the exhibits of the Museum.

Archaeologists-curators will wait for children and accompanying persons from 12.00 till 18.00, on the second floor of the Museum in the Hall of the archaic period.
