Today in Athens kicks off Christmas campaign. On Central Syntagma Square will host the official launch of the festive illuminations. The event will start at 17:30 simultaneously in two places. Two teams of Philharmonic Wind Orchestra of municipality of Athens will begin March parade from Monastiraki Metro station and the famous Kotz′â square to meet near the building the Government.

Athens holiday lights Christmas light 19:00 in the presence of Mayor Giorgos Kaminisa and famous singer Sakis Rouvas. This will be followed by a big celebratory concert singer accompanied by a Big Band and youth choir Lyceum Lendio.

Christmas in Athens is always millions of holiday lights, endless shopping in the main shopping streets, shows, live concerts, with the participation of favorite bands, theatrical presentation and much more. Despite the sad events in Europe, the Greek Government has decided to support citizens and launch the festive mood. Athens rather festive light and will be loaded into the Christmas atmosphere.
