At the international competition of olive oil producers in New York (NYIOOC), Greece recognized one of the best olive oil producer in the world with the highest consumption on person.

Nineteen Greek producers were on the list of the best worldwide. The winners received Gold Awards Gold Award, noting the record year for Greece and Greek producers at the annual event.
