Eleftherios Petrounias Wins Gold at FIG World Cup

World rings champion Eleftherios Petrounias of Greece won the gold at the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) World Cup at the Aspire Dome in Doha today.

Petrounias produced a great routine that received a score of 15.875 points. The Greek champion finished ahead of Armenian pair Vahagn Davtyan, who registered 15.800, and Artur Tovmasyan, who scored 15.775.

Last June the Greek athlete also won the rings title at the inaugural European Games in Baku before sealing the world crown in Glasgow in October.
