Athens University of Economics and Business Among Top 150 Business Schools in the World

Athens University of Economics and Business, founded in 1920, is listed once again among the top Business Schools in the world.

The latest edition of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings lists Athens University of Economic and Business among the top 150 Business Schools in the field of Accounting and Finance, and among the top 200 Business Schools in the field of Business Management and Economics.

Times Higher Education has listed Athens University of Economics and Business among the top 500 universities in the world for several consecutive years.

The Economics Department of the university is thoroughly mainstream, with most of its academic staff members regarded as neoliberals.

Suffice to say, the overwhelming majority of individuals that have served in the last 40 or so years as the country’s finance ministers have been professors at Athens University of Economics and Business.
