Greek Hotel Is the Top Luxury Hotel in Europe

A recent study by Luxury-Hotels.com, found that the most expensive hotel in Europe was Amanzo’e in Kranidi, at the Peloponnese, whose minimum rate for a room in the summer period was 1,779 euros. The list compared different luxury hotels over the July-August period, not taking into account those that had less than 15 rooms.

Second on the list was Le Dune, south of Sardinia (1,645 euros) and Cap Estal in the French Riviera (1,596 euros).

A Greek hotel was included in the top 10 luxury hotels, whereas three Greek hotels made it to the Top 20. The second priciest hotel of Greece, fifth in Europe, according to the study was in Santorini – Canaves Oia Suites (1,400 euros for a double room). Katikies Euro, on Santorini, occupied the 19th spot with room rates at 1,140 euros.
