Trainose Sold to Italian Company for too Low a Price

Italian railways will buy Greece’s rail company Trainose after Athens accepted the group’s 45 million euro ($50 million) bid. Filippos Tsalidis, managing director of Trainose, told the Athens News Agency (AMNA-MPA) on Wednesday that the “company has paid for sins related with the past.”

He said that Trainose’s sale to the Italian railways was at a very low price, and he refered to the future of the rail company. He said that priority will be given to the workers and the clients until the transfer of the shares to the Italian company is completed underlining that the management will continue its development work.
