Passenger traffic at Athens International Airport grew 11.3 percent in July, totaling 2.85 million passengers, Athens-Macedonian News Agency has reported.

Both domestic and international passenger traffic grew in the month, up 9.1 percent and 12.3 percent respectively (920,873 domestic passengers and 1,930,321 international passengers).

In the seven-month period from January to July, passenger traffic totaled 13.3 million, up 11.1 percent compared with the same period last year, with domestic traffic up 3.7 percent and international traffic up 15 percent.
