Greek Justice is gradually “exiting” the quarantine stage, starting from 27th of April with the opening of First Instance Courts, Magistrate’s Courts and Land Registry offices around the country.

The partial repeal of the Court suspension will start with the proceedings of interim measures regarding forced pre-notations, provisional seizures and pre-notation eliminations.

Justice is the first sector which is progressively restored, while the selection of the above proceedings aims to the facilitation of both business and residential loans in order to restore the economy in its normal pace as soon as possible.

The operation of the court proceedings shall be guided by the instructions of infectious disease specialists and epidemiologists, while the subsequent steps for the initiation of the remaining court procedures will be gradual and equivalent to the evolvement of the pandemic.
