The southern coastline of Athens is rapidly transforming. As part of Europe’s largest urban redevelopment project — Ellinikon — real progress is already visible. A symbol of this new era, Riviera Tower, the first residential skyscraper in Greece’s history, has reached half of its planned height and continues to rise.
🏗 Riviera Tower
Designed by the renowned architectural firm Foster + Partners, the tower will become the tallest building in Greece — 200 meters tall, with 50 floors and over 170 premium apartments offering panoramic views of the Saronic Gulf.
Over 113 meters have already been completed — half of the final height.
🌿 What is Ellinikon?
This new coastal district of Athens, built on the grounds of the former airport, includes:
- Europe’s largest coastal urban park
- Residential neighborhoods and business centers
- Tourism infrastructure and a yacht marina
- Cultural and sports venues
- Eco-friendly transportation solutions
📈 Why is it important?
The Ellinikon project has already attracted billions of euros in investment and become a symbol of Greece’s modernization. Interest in real estate in the area is growing rapidly — both among Greeks and foreign buyers, especially through the Golden Visa program.
“Ellinikon is not just a project. It is proof that Greece can evolve, look ahead, and offer the world a new way of life.”
— Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis
Completion of Riviera Tower is scheduled for 2026, with major park elements expected by 2027–2028.
The Ellinikon project is more than urban development. It’s a step into the future, combining innovation, sustainability, and a coastal lifestyle. Follow its progress with Grekodom.
